SAUNDERSFOOT Footlights' Christmas pantomime will once again be a major seasonal attraction in the Tenby area. This year they are staging John Morley's version of Dick Whittington, a music and comedy-filled show with a cast of over 40 children and adults.

The show is directed by Helen Wright, one of Footlights' artistic directors, and she has many local performers in the cast as well as a liberal sprinkling of newcomers of all ages. She enthused that John Morley's pantomimes are chosen by professional and community theatre groups throughout the UK and Dick Whittington has always been a popular favourite.

Dick Whittington is showing at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, for evening performances (curtain 7.30 pm) on December 6, 7, 13 and 14, and matinees (curtain 2.30) on December 8 and 15. The Footlights have set ticket prices at £3 for adults and £1.50 for children to encourage family groups to see and enjoy traditional Christmas entertainment.

Tickets will be available from Evans Newsagents, Saundersfoot; Reohorn Amusements, Pembroke Dock; Regency Hall from 30 minutes before curtain time on performance days.
