Tenby Under 9s wrapped up a superb season by winning the Folly Farm Cup last Sunday, winning six games out of six.
They defeated previously unbeaten Dursley from England three tries to nil, Pembroke four tries to nil, Bynea by three tries, Trimsaran by five tries, Dursley B team by five tries and a great effort against Bynea under 10s, winning by two tries to one.
The forwards dominated every game and were superbly led by their captain William Swales, while Billy Kinnaer, Ben Millward and Henry Mcbeth are proving a real handful. Morgan Sparey and Jamie Ebsworth are also starting to dominate the tackle area with their aggression.
Iori Hicks worked his socks off at scrum-half to enable the Tenby flyers behind to create havoc, with Harri Williams, Dom Booth, Thomas Harding Jones, Harvey Johns and Lewis Sarrionandia all ending up on the score sheet, forming a good partnership as a unit.
The Swifts are hoping to run this as an annual tournament with the backing of Folly Farm and will be hoping to invite many more teams, as this year's trial had been a magnificent success. Well done boys.
