A florist's shop won first prize in the Pembroke Christmas window display competition, sponsored jointly by Pembroke Town Council and Pembroke Chamber of Trade.
Lucy Kenniford, owner of Forget me Not, in Main Street, said: "It was a real team effort and everyone at the shop is very pleased with the result."
Mrs. Dilys Hanmer MBE, who had the difficult task of judging the competition with Sean Powell and Rachel Rogers (head boy and head girl at Pembroke School), said: "I thought the entries were very imaginative and were a great advertisement for the town."
Results: Winner - Forget me Not; runner-up - Wisebuys; highly commended - Pretty Woman, The Card Shop; commended - The Cutting Room, The Room, Stems.
