Recently, an award cermony was held at the Botanical Gardens of Wales for the horticultural, flower arranging, and animal studies students of Pibwrlwyd College, Carmarthen.
Pictured is Miss Louise Davies from Saundersfoot, who is seen being awarded Student of the Year for her City and Guilds in Flower Arranging by Jane Richmond, head of education, Botanical Gardens of Wales.
Louise is one of six members on the floristry team at Four Seasons Florist, Upper Frog Street, Tenby, along with fellow student Jamie-Ri Henderson, who was awarded a distinction in NVQ level 1.
Hugh, Jenette and all at Four Seasons are very proud of the awards achieved by the girls and look forward to seeing them expand on their skills as they progress with their careers in floristry.
Louise's, sister Karen, who also attends flower arranging courses at the college and assists in the shop, and Jamie-Ri have already been seen demonstrating their skills in wedding flowers, bouquets, dramatic window displays in the shop and flower festivals where their work has been admired for their creativity and dynamism.
