Tenby's award-winning fish restaurant and take-away, D. Fecci and Sons, are proud to announce that they have been awarded five-star status by Seafish, the UK's authority on seafood.
And as D. Fecci and Sons are in their 75th year, what a great way this is to celebrate their anniversary!
In a national quality award scheme, an independent assessor conducted a thorough inspection (a nerve-wracking six hours), measuring against a national standard (the Seafish quality award) as drawn up by the Seafish industry authority, in consultation with the National Federation of Fish Friers and other statutory bodies.
Owners Delmon and Charles Fecci are rightly proud of this latest achivement:
"We are commited to producing a quality product," they said, adding: "We must thank the fantastic team we have with us. Without their help we could not maintain such high standards."
And the Fecci secret? Well, that's really no secret at all - hard work, fresh ingredients and attention to detail.
