Part of Tenby’s historic Five Arches have been cordoned off after masonry fell from the landmark on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council said that they had received a call over the weekend informing the authority that a piece of stone had become dislodged and fallen onto the footway at the Five Arches.
“We have erected temporary barriers and signage until a thorough inspection can be carried out today (Monday) by our structural engineer,” explained the spokesperson.
