Milford Haven Coastguard requested the launch of Tenby's all-weather lifeboat Haydn Miller at 2.40 pm last Thursday afternoon after they received a call for assistance from the fishing vessel, Crusader.
The lifeboat proceeded to a position 16 miles south of Caldey Island and located the 16-metre vessel with engine failure. It was taken in tow bound for Milford Haven.
Arrangements were made to rendezvous with Angle lifeboat at a position two miles south of Linney Head where they would carry on with the tow to Milford Docks.
Tenby lifeboat returned to Station, arriving in Tenby at 6.40 pm.
