Members of Tenby RNLI Fundraising Committee are very aware of the support for the lifeboat in the town, particularly from many of the businesses who are always happy to aid our efforts in any way they can.
In March supporters and friends enjoyed a superb fish and chip supper at the Qube courtesy of owner Matthew Ronowitz, and on Monday he went down to the boathouse along with manager Gill Nicholls, to present £275 to Coxswain Philip John at a ceremony held on the Haydn Miller.
Together with the £170 raised on the night by the Lifeboat Station’s raffle - over £400 was raised while enjoying an evening of good food and good company.
The lifeboat team are very grateful to Matthew, Gill and all the staff at The Qube for their excellent effort.
There will be a quiz and ‘Bangers and Mash’ night tonight (Friday) at Tenby Sailing Club in aid of the RNLI, and remember to call in at the shop in the Boathouse to check out the new stock.
