A local chippy is battering it out on the 2005 National Fish and Chip Shop of the Year competition.
D. Fecci and Sons Fish and Chip Restaurant, Tenby, is one of 10 from the south of Wales shortlisted in the competition and is awaiting a visit from a mystery judge who will score each of them on factors, including the quality of their fish and chips, customer service and hygiene.
The top shop in the south of Wales and the 18 other competition areas will be announced next month.
