Tenby Under 6s entered their first competitive tournament recently at Kilgetty. Tenby's first fixture was against Newcastle Emlyn, winning 2-0, with goals from Billy Truman and Frazer Finlay. Tenby's second game was lost 1-0 against Cwrt Herbert Colts, despite some strong defending from Jack Broadhurst, Thomas Murphy and Elliot Moorhouse. Third game was won 2-0 against Garden Village. Again there were great goals from Billy and Frazer, and midfield bursts from Cai Elms and George Amos. Tenby's final game was against a very strong Dafen outfit, who ran out 4-0 victors, despite some great, great goalkeeping skills from Toby Poole! These were Tenby Under 6s' first real football matches and they all played extremely well in all games. Many thanks go to their dedicated coach, Mr. Dene Hurlow, and helper, Mr. Matthew Broadhurst. Each player received a medal for their participation in the tournament and a great day was had by all.
