Saundersfoot and Tenby community first responders need your help!
They are looking for more recruits to help with their work alongside the Welsh Ambulance Service.
In their spare time, they respond to life-threatening 999 calls to give immediate support until paramedics arrive.
Some of the callouts include cardiac arrests, breathing problems, severe blood loss and many more.
All the team members are trained by the Welsh Ambulance Service and paramedics that they work alongside.
In September, the scheme was given a £5,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund to purchase four new defibrillators for the areas, as well as new response bags and uniform for the team and to upgrade their equipment.
The scheme has been operating for the past three years and has attended well over 1,000 calls.
The first responders are always actively seeking new volunteers to join and make the cover they offer wider and better with more volunteers. Full training is provided by the Welsh Ambulance Service; volunteers must be over 18 years of age and hold a full UK driving licence.
