First Cymru has announced that staff have called industrial action for Wednesday, October 22 to Saturday, October 25 - which will cause disruption to services across Pembrokeshire.

Further strike action is also planned between Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2; and between Wednesday, November 5 and Saturday, November 8.

First Cymru run a number of key bus services in Pembrokeshire and the County Council’s public transportation team is in contact with First Cymru regarding service levels during the strike.

The following bus routes in Pembrokeshire may be affected: 302, 322, 349, 356, 381.

A spokesperson for First Cymru said: “Despite talks and every possible effort, we have been unable to reach agreement with the Unite trade union regarding a pay offer for our driving, engineering and some support colleagues across south and west Wales.”
