A FEW months after winning an Oxford University rugby Blue (reported in the Tenby Observer on December 25), Rhodri James has gained a first class honours degree in geography from the university.

Rhodri, who comes from Llanfallteg near Whitland, is a former pupil of Henllan Amgoed and Narberth primary schools and Ysgol Dyffryn Taf, Whitland, and is a product of Narberth RFC.

In September, Rhodri will begin teaching geography and coaching rugby at Wellington College in Berkshire for a year before taking up post-graduate studies.
