Sir,

On Wednesday, August 5, the Tenby Firemen's Annual Summer Carnival will wind its way through the streets of the town. Proceeds from this go towards the Firefighters National Benevolent Fund.

The day starts at the Fire Station with a coffee morning, raffle, face-painting, children's rides, BBQ and more.

The carnival then starts at approximately 5.15 pm from Tenby railway yard, led by the Swansea East Girls Band, followed by fancy dress walking entries and decorated lorries.

If any businesses feel that they or their staff could take part in the carnival, just for fun, or perhaps to promote themselves, or make a donation/raffle prize, we would be very grateful.

If a float is required for the carnival, let us know and we will also make an effort to get one.

Prize-giving is at the harbour, but in the event of rain, it will be held at the Fire Station.
