The Saundersfoot branch of Cancer Research UK Cymru has received a financial boost thanks to Mark Poole, a PE teacher in Cardiff, who hails from the village. Mark, the son of Saundersfoot Community Council chairman, Clr. Don Poole, and his wife, took part in the Cardiff Marathon and raised £853 for the charity.
