This Sunday's film at the Queens Hall, Narberth, 'The Dish' takes us back to that memorable day in 1969 when Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the moon. Directed by Robert Stitch, the film focuses on the three tracking stations, one in California, and two in Australia, which simultaneously received signals from the lunar module to be witnessed by six hundred million viewers around the world. Stunning photography, a wonderful soundtrack and lead roles played by Sam Neill and Kevin Harrington. Can't guarantee an audience of six hundred million at the Queen's Hall, but can guarantee one that is warmly receptive, and that extends to any non-members who are most welcome to come in from 7 pm, for bar drinks, coffee and home-made cakes. The film starts at 7.30, tickets £3.50. Enquiries, ring (01834) 861047.
