Festive fever appears to have embraced people in Pembrokeshire earlier than usual this year, as Folly Farm, Begelly, reports their Christmas grotto has already attracted more visitors than ever! The festive fun at the Pembrokeshire adventure park includes a magical Santa's Grotto, friendly reindeer and mulled wine and mince pies for parents, a spectacular Christmas theatre show, festive arts and crafts, seasonal treasure trail and more. The park has been beautifully decked with decorations, and staff are already full of festive cheer! Director Chris Ebsworth puts the park's yuletide popularity down to their huge expansion over recent years. "The park's getting bigger and our attractions are getting better. Like all the holiday celebrations, Christmas at Folly Farm is improving every year. Last year was a huge success, with fantastic feedback from guests, and people are returning again this year as well as recommending the park to their friends." Chris also believes that the park's new 'Carousel Woods' indoor adventure playground makes Folly Farm an obvious choice for a winter day out. "It's the biggest indoor adventure play in Wales, and it's suitable for the whole family to join in, so it's also proving to be a big attraction during the cold weather." Chris hopes that Folly Farm's effort will contribute to the overall appeal of Pembrokeshire as a wonderful winter tourist destination. "There isn't a great deal to do indoors in Pembrokeshire, with most of the county's appeal lying in the coast and countryside, and we feel that 'Carousel Woods' is genuinely a fantastic addition to our county's attractions." Regular visitor and mother Fran Moulds agreed: "We visit Pembrokeshire several times a year and always visit Folly Farm, but we've never been at Christmas before. It's really a lovely Christmas day out so I'm not at all surprised it's proving so popular." The festive fun can be enjoyed at Folly Farm every Saturday and Sunday until December 17.
