Christian Aid week begins tomorrow (Saturday) and to mark the occasion, St. Johns Church is holding a special coffee morning. The event starts at 10 am in the church hall in Warren Street. Other events which usually take place at this time of year have been postponed, as it is a specially busy at Tenby churches at present. It's recognised that people cannot support all local charities at once. Though anyone kind enough to make a contribution to Tenby's branch of Christian Aid during this special week is invited to use the charity's box inside St Mary's Church. Or leave your donation with the secretary at 9 Crackwell Street. Christian Aid is not the largest charity in Britain, but it gives the most aid. This is because its overhead costs are very little. The money goes where it is needed - directly to desperate families in need all over the world. Vital aid is freely given to all in need of any religion.
