The friendly village of Saundersfoot is getting all lit up to stage its annual showcase of festive treats on the first weekend in December.
That’s when the popular St. Nicholas Christmas Market takes place on the seafront, with Yuletide goodies - including food, drink, gifts, crafts, chef demonstrations, live music and other attractions - in and around its heated marquee.
Against the backdrop of Saundersfoot’s sparkling Christmas lights, the lively three-day event - organised by Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism - takes place on Friday, December 2, Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4.
Over 50 stalls in the marquee will be offering a variety of tempting tastes and must-have gifts, including Welsh-produced festive food and drink and artisan crafts ranging from mosaics to driftwood creations.
GUEST CHEFS
The marquee’s Kitchen Corner will be welcoming chefs Lisa Fearn and Guy Morris to share Christmas recipes and tips.
PARADE AND MUSIC
There will also be a Friday evening lantern parade, starting at 5.30 pm; live music throughout the weekend, Santa’s Grotto on Saturday and Sunday, children’s rides and a display by Pembrokeshire Falconry.
OPENING HOURS
Saundersfoot St. Nicholas Christmas Market will be open from 2 - 7 pm on Friday, December 2; 10 am - 7 pm on Saturday, December 3, and 10 am - 5 pm on Sunday, December 4.
WIN A PRIZE!
Unlimited admission to the marquee is £2, which covers the whole weekend and includes free entry into the Grand Market Draw for prizes donated by stallholders and Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism members. There’s free entry for accompanied under-12s.
