Members of Tenby Playgroup set off on their annual sponsored walk yesterday (Thursday) from the town’s railway station.

It transpires that the walk may turn out to be a ‘farewell tour’ of Tenby for staff and children, as Playgroup leader Yvonne Williams announced that the longstanding facility is sadly likely to close before the summer as numbers have fallen in recent months.

“The money we raise from the walk will now go to a local worthwhile charity,” she explained.
