The possibility of an extra small scale waste collection for Tenby traders on a Friday has been discussed with Pembrokeshire County Council’s head of environment.
Tenby Chamber of Trade and Tourism had written to the authority with their concerns that the current waste collection in the resort is not sufficient for business needs.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of Tenby Town Council, town clerk Andrew Davies told councillors that he had joined the Chamber of Trade for a meeting with Richard Brown, PCC’s head of environment and civil contingencies, recently.
“Mr. Brown agreed to look into the possibility of a small scale waste collection service for Tenby possibly for a Friday, if there is interest from trade waste customers in the town,” he said.
