What an excellent job the Observer is making in reporting on our local community.

From a purely personal perspective I have just opened today's issue. Page 2 has an article about the innovative degree course in Monkton that I believe is going to give life-changing opportunities. Mr. George Lewis's photograph this week shows Bush Street and just visible in the background is my grandfather's business at Albion Square, W. G. Rees and Son. The 'Face of the Week' is Liz Cook, who I know well from her totally committed work for Monkton Communities First, a first class lady.

Page 3 has the always thoughtful article from an old friend, Pastor Rob James and the Priory Project business enterprise project at Pembroke Dock market for Gypsy/Traveller pupils.
