A READER has written to the Observer to note that the newly-built transport interchange at Haverfordwest is already deteriorating in cleanliness, within weeks of its opening.
“I had to clean the seat on both occasions I have used the public toilets,” he observed.
“There’s already a major pigeon problem at the bus hub. There’s pigeons flying in and looking for somewhere to nest and bird droppings up the wall over the floors at the depot.”
Having witnessed cigarettes and litter on the floor, he spoke with someone who said that bins would be installed. “I haven’t seen one bin since the depot opened a month or two ago,” he continued, adding
“I think it’s a nice build but has flaws and things need to be cleaned.”
