OPENING this Saturday, ‘Weather Systems’, a local show exploring weather - literally and metaphorically - runs from April 25 to May 23 at Oriel Q gallery in Narberth.

The show’s opening night is on Saturday, April 25, 5-7pm.

Artists from all kinds of media, film to sculpture have created visualisations on the theme of weather.

It could be said that there are many kinds of weather, internal and external, the highs and lows of our emotional lives sometimes corresponding to weather fronts drifting over a landscape.

In Pembrokeshire we often have the fullest experience of dramatic weather, howling wind and heavy rain, along with days of beautiful summer sunshine and placid seas.

The science of climatology will also play its part, with space made for a creative engagement with the reality of climate change.

‘Weather System’ aims to engage as fully as possible with this enormous subject, and features a number of highly talented local and international artists.

Find Oriel Q at 11, Market Square, Narberth, Pembrokeshire. It is open Wednesday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm. Visit orielqnarberth.com or email [email protected] for more details.
