Plant lovers will be in horticultural heaven when they visit Aberglasney’s Late Summer Fair on September 6 and 7.

Open 10am-5pm, the Carmarthenshire mansion will be full of orchids for the Welsh Orchid Festival; the Cloister Garden packed with plants and produce stalls. There’ll be plant talks, demonstrations, flower arranging workshops and watercolour painting of fruit and flowers.

Children can explore Aberglasney’s new natural playground, and the gardens will become a foodie paradise.

Saturday’s music main stage on the Saturday will feature Saxy Brass, the Rock Choir and J4. On the Sunday the acts include Carmarthen Ukuleles, Nia Tyler, a recent semi-finalist on S4C’s Y Llais, and No Mean Biscuit will keep visitors entertained.
