Tenby actor Charles Dale will appear in the second series of the Bergerac reboot - which is set to hit TV screens next year.

Series 2 of the Jersey-set crime drama has officially wrapped filming, with Damien Molony returning as Jim Bergerac for the six episode run.

Charles who also sits on Tenby Town Council, and was Deputy Mayor of the seaside town up until earlier this year, will be among new faces such as Lesley Sharp and Adrian Edmondson joining the cast.

Well-known for his roles in Casualty, Coronation Street and the Pembrokeshire Murders, Charles will play Ian in the detective drama.

Bergerac will return to U and U&DRAMA for its second series in 2026.
