EXPERIENCE an uplifting evening of a cappella singing in Narberth as SPAN Arts presents its much-loved Community Choir Concert.
Taking place on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 7pm at St Andrew’s Church, Narberth, this special concert celebrates the power of community singing, bringing together choirs from across Wales and beyond for an evening rich in harmony, connection and shared musical expression.
The Narberth A Cappella Community Choir Concert, held in the heart of Pembrokeshire, has been delighting audiences for over 25 years. Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality performances, the festival offers a unique celebration of the human voice, uniting performers and audiences through song.
This year’s Community Choir Concert features a vibrant and diverse line-up. Côr Pawb, formed as part of a one-day choir project, will take to the stage for the first time, a celebration of inclusivity and the joy of singing together. Newport Community Choir brings a strong sense of local community spirit, while Lleisiau Preseli Voices and Sweet Harmony Community Choir, led by Maya Waldman, whose dynamic, world-music-inspired approach to conducting brings energy, rhythm and global influences to the choir’s sound. Completing the line-up is Synergy, Abergavenny’s long-established male close-harmony group, formed in 2006 and known for their distinctive barbershop-style a cappella.
Together, these choirs present a varied and engaging programme, showcasing the breadth of community singing, from traditional and contemporary pieces to globally inspired arrangements.
