The popular Welsh National Scooter Rally rides into Tenby again this May Bank holiday weekend. Hundreds of scooter enthusiasts are expected to visit the seaside town once again, to enjoy a host of events, organised by the Scooter Collective South Wales from Friday, May 1 to Monday, May 4

Entertainment and live music will take place in venues across the town, with the De Valence Pavilion on Upper Frog Street hosting the Butterfly Collective on Friday evening; and then on Saturday night - Simmer Down, followed by Future Sailors.

On Sunday evening, the ‘end of rally’ party will be held at Tenby United Rugby Club on Upper Frog Street. A ‘Reggae Got Soul’ night will also take place at this venue on the Friday night, with more entertainment on Saturday night with the ‘fabulous club room’.

The Ex-Servicemen’s Club (aka The Dogs home) on South Parade will also host two Northen Soul nights on Friday and Saturday.

The popular ‘ride-out’ - will take place on Saturday afternoon from Tenby RFC’s ground on Heywood Lane heading around the surrounding area. The Custom Show/Traders Fair will also be held at the rugby ground on the Saturday.

Scooter enthusiast, Steven Morris shared: “The Tenby Scooter Rally in May will be 25 years since the first ‘national’ rally in Tenby which took place in 2001 in Kiln Park and featured ‘Edwin Starr’ headlining.

“Previous to that there had been two smaller local rallies in 1999 and 2000, and certainly throughout the 1990s Tenby was a regular weekend getaway for South Wales scooterists, members of the A470 Jokers Scooter Club certainly went down there camping plenty of times.

“2026 will be the 12th time a national rally has been held in this picturesque and welcoming town.”
