TO celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tenby Blues Festival, Films4Tenby will be showing the documentary Red, White and Blues (2003, 93 mins) at the De Valence on September 22.

This film documents the 1960’s blues explosion and its influence and reinterpretation by musicians at the time.
Director Mike Figgis joins musicians such as Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Tom Jones, performing and talking about the music of the early sixties’ British invasion that reintroduced the blues sound to America.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7pm. Admission is £5 on the evening, £4 for members, £10 for a family of four.
