Four local people will be special guest editors on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning (Saturday) for a special edition of the ‘Today programme’ which will be broadcast from the seaside town’s community learning centre.

Vince and Fiona Malone of Tenby Stores and Post Office, along with Lucas Boissevain from Penally Abbey Hotel, and Derek Skidmore from Belvedere House Residential Care Home will make up the group ‘Tenby - Life’s Not Just A Beach’ for the show which will explore the issues facing coastal communities through the lens of Tenby.

“Our four guest editors all live in Tenby and have asked us to look at a range of issues in the community including employment, housing, transport, and young people in Tenby,” said Laura Cooper, assistant editor of BBC Radio 4’s Today.

Representatives from the Welsh Government and Pembrokeshire County Council will also feature on the programme.

The section will be broadcast between 7 and 9 am on September 2.
