The Bingo, Burger & Band event planned for Friday at South Pembs Golf Club has been postponed owing to this extreme heat. A future date will be announced in the Tenby Observer.
The decision has been made today to give people notice. Supporters who were known to be coming have been telephoned.
Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild have planned their first Bingo, Burger & Band fundraising event at South Pembrokeshire Golf Club and the ‘Varifolkals’ band.
South Pembs Golf Club will be catering for the RNLI fundraiser, originally set for July 17, giving the opportunity for participants to enjoy the Club terrace with its outstanding views of the Pembroke Dock golf course and the Cleddau waterway.
Tickets (£12.50) will include a sumptuous burger. The bar will be open too, and a raffle is courtesy of generous local support. The price of admission includes four Bingo games.
Burgers will be served with salad and coleslaw. Vegetarian and gluten free dietary needs can be catered for.
