Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum is proud to be bringing back its annual celebration of Pembrokeshire’s native, natural world, with the ‘Living Coast’ event  to the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven.

With a fresh new look and name, the event is now in its 11th year, and will feature the much-loved wildlife photography competition, along with a series of talks, slideshows and video footage designed to bring the wildlife on our doorstep into sharper focus.

The event which takes place on Monday, March 13 is delighted to welcome Jamie Owen as headline speaker this year for an evening of celebration and wonder, as local experts come together to share images and stories of amazing diversity. Enjoy talks from:

• Jamie Owen - A Pembrokeshire Life. Sharing his experiences and discoveries about the many wonders of Pembrokeshire.

• John Archer-Thompson- Limpets: not boring even if you look at them for 40 years! When it comes to limpets, there’s more than meets the eye. John will be revealing how these ‘ecosystem engineers’ can reveal a lot about the health and changes of our rocky shores.

• Emma Lewis - Wildlife Encounters – Seeing eye to eye. We know eye contact is important when communicating with each other, but how does it influence our encounters with wildlife? From sharks to seabirds, Emma will be sharing with you what she has learned about this often overlooked, form of communication.

• Lou Luddington - Life on a single breath – a look at nature’s freedivers. In this talk Lou explores the ocean’s deep diving, breath holding creatures and the incredible superpowers that allow them to do so. Featuring wildlife from Pembrokeshire seas and beyond.
