Following a wonderful Cawl competition, Pembroke Soup is back, offering tasty homemade soup and a forum for local causes.
All are welcome to the next event, this Saturday, September 30 at 12 noon prompt to 1.30pm at Pembroke Town Hall. Entry is £5 (accompanied under 10 year olds are free)
Before enjoying soup, four community groups will share briefly what they do, how they do it, what help they may need and, if seeking funds, what they would be used for.
On September 30 the invited groups are Pembrokeshire Voluntary Transport, who have wheelchair accessible cars; Esteem, a training provider making wonderful items; Menshed, men who get together to make and create; and VC gallery, which offers creative engagement and support.
You may find that one of these groups offer services that are useful to know about or join in with. You will have the opportunity to find out more and support them because the entrance money on the day goes to support groups seeking a small immediate cash grant.
You are assured of a warm welcome, delicious soup lunch and an interesting morning. And you will be supporting the community!
