Sunny Tenby welcomed the ‘Steampunk Festival’ back today (Saturday), for a weekend full of vibrant activities!

Taking place from Saturday to Sunday, March 21-22 - this year the weekend will see some evening entertainment as well as the usual day time activities.

On the weekend, you will be able to book a slot for portrait photography, book to have tea with Captain Nemo, join the Peacock Parades, enter the Tea Duelling competition, watch the Guy Ritchie ‘Sherlock’ film, have an interactive storytelling experience, and much much, more!

This is all alongside the free to enter Steampunk Emporium which returns on both days in the De Valence Pavilion on Upper Frog Street.

For your delight and delectation, the venue’s hall will be full of Steampunk stalls - with every imaginable item available to purchase.

The hall will be open from 10am until 4pm again on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, there will be another Peacock Parade starting from the De Valence at 2pm and heading through the centre of the seaside town down to the picturesque harbour.

Other highlights will see Thomas Benjamin Esquire performing at Upper Frog Street’s Tenby Rugby Club on Saturday, from 7.30pm onwards, and supported by local band Footbridge. All profits from this show (after costs) will be donated to the charities and initiatives supported by Tenby and District Lions and Tenby Rotary Club.

On Sunday between 11am and 1.30pm, head to Augustus Place Community Hall for a chance to have a go at Lego/K’nex, pimping-up your steampunk costume, or making a cabinet of curiosities.
