PEMBROKE’S annual River Rally takes place on Saturday, August 8, and this year its organisers are looking to smash 2024’s 70-boat record!

The event is a partnership between West Wales Maritime Heritage Society, Pembroke Dock Town Council, Pembroke Town Council and Pembrokeshire County Council.

The West Wales Maritime Heritage Society’s lead boat will be in Crow Pool from about midday where any participants may also gather. It will head up river at 12.25pm and expects to arrive at Castle Pond at about 1pm. High tide is 14:35 so boats should leave Castle Pond by 3pm.

The mayors of Pembroke and Pembroke Dock will be in attendance. There will be a variety of stands in the car park adjacent to the pond, including food and drink, and gifts.
