AFTER the summer break, Neyland Ladies Choir resumed rehearsals on Wednesday, September 2. The evening began with the AGM when the outgoing chairlady, the musical director and the accompanist each gave a review of last year and votes of thanks before the new committee were elected.

Beginning in January 2027, the choir will be reaching a real milestone - their 50th Anniversary. New chairlady Noreen Hadfield has been a member for the majority of that time and is looking forward to celebrating the anniversary with a variety of events. Details of the anniversary celebrations will be found on the choir’s website nearer the time.

Until then the choir has a number of events lined up. The first is a joint concert with Tenby Male Choir at the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot on Thursday, September 17 starting at 7pm. This promises to be a great concert – so put the date in your diaries now.
