A brand new beer festival is coming to Pembrokeshire next month, featuring a huge range of beers from independent breweries from across Wales - along with live music.
‘Indie Beer Cymru’ is taking place on Friday the 19th and Saturday 20th Septemberin Haverfordwest and is being organised by Welsh brewers from the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates, building on the success of the hugely popular Indie Beer Scotland event in Glasgow.
“We are delighted to be presenting the biggest selection of Welsh indie beers available anywhere in a huge range of different beer styles - from traditional stouts and bitters, to modern IPAs and speciality beers. Indie Beer Cymru really will have something for everyone and we think the Haverhub in Haverfordwest is the perfect place to host this new flagship beer festival for Wales,” said Sara Webber, one of the festival organisers.
The beer festival will follow the judging of the Indie Beer Awards Cymru, allowing festival-goers the chance to be the first to try the official best beers in Wales. Winners will be announced across a range of style categories, as well as an Overall Champion – the very best of the best in the competition.
Winners from the awards will be served at the festival and go on to the National UK-wide Finals early next year.
Indie Beer Cymru Festival will take place at Haverhub, 12 Quay Street.
Sessions will be from 12pm to 5.30pm; and 6pm to 11pm on both days.
Entry will be £5 for a session, including souvenir festival glass.
