Make a date for countryside fun on Bank Holiday Monday, August 28 at Cresselly Country House. There will be classic cars, stalls by favourite charities and interesting retailers, presented with lashings of smiles and wagging tails.

Delicious homemade cream teas and a tasty BBQ will fuel your busy afternoon, and there’s a bar tent too.

Set on the lovely lawns of Cresselly House, with games to play, you won't hear youngsters complaining of being bored.

If you fancy a peek indoors, Cresselly House will be open for house tours, costing £5 per person. (Available for over-12s only)

The Cresselly Country House fayre includes hugely popular doggy activities and is a must for dog-lovers, with or without their canine friends. The Dog Show is for posh pets and common pooches, Novelty Classes (which include a best fancy dress class). Classes start around 1pm.

It's down to the race track from about 3pm. Terrier and lurcher/long dog racing have become the highlight of the Cresselly Country House fayre and every year brings roars of laughter from onlookers. It's a must-see local tradition.

Races will be based on size so register your pet and have him measured before the first race.

New this year are incredibly beautiful Steam engines lovingly restored by Richard Scourfield and Phil Walker.

A more recent attractions is the superb display of Classic Cars. Come and see the Marvellous Morgans, Lovely Lancias, Charismatic Cobra! And Fabulous Ferraris.

Entry to the fayre is £5 per person, with under-12s £1 and plentiful parking free. Doggy fixtures cost £1 per entry. Gates open at 12 noon.
