Presidents Richard and Sandra Morgan, Llandysilio, said:

“It gives us great pleasure in welcoming everyone to this year’s Clynderwen and District Young Farmers Show.

“As past members of Clunderwen Young Farmers Club and having been chairman when the show was initially restarted over forty years ago, it has given us great delight in seeing the show flourish over the years, supporting the show, and sharing some very happy times with family and friends, old and new. Especially, after the COVID-19 enforced break, it’s lovely to have the opportunity to meet up again.

“We would like to thank the volunteers that work hard to set up the show, the stewards who run the show on the day and to all the competitors and spectators; without you ALL the show would not be as successful as it is today.

We hope you all enjoy your day at the show, and we wish the Clynderwen and District Young Farmers Show every success and look forward to many more.”

Chairman, Dan Roblin, Clunderwen, added:

“As the new chairman of the show society, I’d like to welcome you all to this year’s Clynderwen & District Young Farmers show. It is a huge honour and privilege to have been asked to take on the role for my local show.

“Due to the pandemic, it’s been several years since our last show, and I feel a great importance in bringing back enjoyment and success to all our visitors and competitors, as well as seeing what all the exhibitors have to offer, making it a great show to be part of.

“Finally I’d like to thank everyone that participates in the setting up and the running of the show and I look forward to seeing you all on the day, for an enjoyable day out for all the family.”
