Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown (2024, 141 mins, cert 15) will be screened in the De Valence Pavilion on Tuesday, July 8 at 7pm

A Complete Unknown is an American biographical musical drama film directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Cocks, about American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.

Loosely based on the 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric! by Elijah Wald, the film portrays Dylan through his earliest folk music success until the momentous controversy over his use of electric instruments. Timothée Chalamet (who also produces) stars as Dylan.

The film received eight Oscar nominations, three Golden Globe nominations and six BAFTA nominations.
