I am writing to praise a remarkable night which was held at Carringtons Restaurant on April 3. The evening in question was a fund-raising event for the Harriet Davis Trust.

It was very well supported and the guest speaker, Mr. Roy Noble, was extremely entertaining.

However, the highest accolade should go to Mark Drewett and his team, but especially to Phillip Fellers, the chef, for his most excellent menu, which was presented and cooked to the highest standard.

I can honestly say that the evening was one of the most enjoyable I have attended.

After 30 years in the catering industry, I felt it important to contact you with regard to the excellence and professionalism of Carringtons establishment, and truly believe they should be in line for a 'Rosette' Award.
