Sport Pembrokeshire are running a fun football camp for boys and girls aged five to 11 of all abilities during the summer holidays.

The days will run from 10 am to 3 pm and cost £12.50 per day. They will consist of skill practices, fun activities and matches, with the emphasis very much on fun and taking part.

Sessions will take place at: Haverfordwest County Football Club (July 26, 27, 28 and 29); Letterston Football Club (August 2, 3, 4, and 5); Pennar Robins Football Club (August 9, 10, 11 and 12); Haverfordwest County Football Club (August 16, 17, 18 and 19); Hakin United Football Club (August 23, 24, 25 and 26).

Sessions will be on grass, so players will be required to bring suitable clothing (a top, shorts/ tracksuit bottoms, suitable footwear, shin pads, jacket etc). Players will also need to bring a change of clothing, in case of inclement weather.

If the child has any relevant medical conditions, they will need to bring their equipment/medication with them (e.g. asthma pump) or they will not be permitted to take part.

Players must also bring with them a packed lunch, and lots of drinks, as the day obviously involves lots of physical activity.

Places are limited so if you are interested please contact Dan Bellis, fun football co-ordinator, Sport Pembrokeshire, Pembrokeshire County Council, on 07920 702044 or email [email protected]">[email protected]

The fun football camps are sponsored by the Welsh Football Trust, Chevron, and World Cup Cymru 2010.
