Enjoy a fresh, locally produced festive feast this year with Haverfordwest Farmers Market’s special Christmas markets.

Held every Friday in the run-up to Christmas Day, the markets have everything you need for your festive table from pigs in blankets to sprouts, homemade cranberry sauce, sausagemeat, glazed hams - plus the all-important turkey.

Choose from farm-fresh whole turkeys up to 8kg, turkey saddles and boneless turkey breast roll, and a wide range of other meats including rolled sirloin, wild boar sausages, organic lamb, Welsh Black Beef joints and much more.

Stallholders will also be selling fresh lobster, crab, and freshly-caught scallops, seasonal vegetables, award-winning preserves and cheese, and a wide range of home-made Christmas cakes, mince pies, stollen and puddings.

Looking for a unique locally-made Christmas gift? There are a variety of soft alpaca wool products, including hats and scarves, as well as hand-made candles and skincare products.

There will also be wonderful carol-singing from local choristers - from St. Mark’s School on December 9, and Llangwm’s Village Voices choir on Friday, December 23.

The market will return on Friday, January 6, and will be held in the Argos Walkway for the first few weeks of the year to ensure that shoppers and stallholders stay dry.

The Christmas markets will be held on Fridays, December 9, 16 and 23 between 9 am and 2 pm at Riverside Shopping.
