After over 30 years of running terrier and lurcher racing in West Wales and raising many thousands of pounds for charities, Tenby Dog Racers have decided to call it a day and have run their final race.

All this would not have been possible without all the dog owners and land owners whose land was raced on and they all deserve a big thank you

Having made their decision, the dog racers then sold off all their equipment and with money in hand had a surplus of £1,569.96.

A meeting was called and it was decided to give all the funds to a charity that receives little in donations, The Lluest Horse and Pony Trust (LH&PT), as a Christmas gift for the good work they do looking after and rehousing neglected horses and ponies.

Others who have played a part with the Tenby Dog Racers over recent years are Richard Jones, Phil Jenkins and Dai Roberts.
