Sadly, St. Mary's Parish Children's Centre is closing down, after 16 years of service to the community. The rooms used by the centre are now needed for St. Mary's Youth Club.
For the last 16 years, this popular drop-in centre for the young and the elderly, has provided clothes, toys and baby equipment at minimal prices, enabling families to benefit from good quality recycled goods. Many friendships have been forged at the centre, and over the years it has been enjoyable seeing children grow and mature into adulthood, bringing their own babie for support and companionship. Many visitors to Tenby also visit the centre regularly, even buying for the neighbours back home.
Pam would like to thank everyone for their support at the centre, especially Beth, who has never failed to 'open up' when Pam has been working.
Best wishes are extended to St. Mary's youth deacon, Denise, and the members of the youth club.
The Children's Centre is open today (Friday) from 10 am - 3 pm. Please go along. Everything is free. This is the last day at the centre.
