PEM DOCK YOUTH 5

TENBY UNITED YOUTH 30

Tenby United Youth began the season in a positive manner with an emphatic win at Pembroke Dock.

Thomas (Turbo) Lewis scored the first points for Tenby with a drop goal. Soon after, Lewis intercepted a loose pass from Pembroke Dock and raced 25 metres to score under the posts. He converted his own try.

Pembroke Dock then came back as Tenby seemed to become complacent.

Tenby took full control of the second half of the game, their level of fitness proving decisive. William Crockford scored a try in the corner after a pick up from the scrum by Rhydian Rees. Mark Heywood made a big break which resulted in captain Robert James crossing for a try.

More pressure from Tenby saw Harry Bolton break three tackles to score a try. Robert James crossed for his second try, which was unconverted, and the final whistle blow.

Well done all players for an excellent start to the season.
