Easter Monday at Folly Farm proved to be a day 'chocked' full of fun for the Harkness family, of Ystradgynlais. During their fabulous day at the Pembrokeshire family adventure park, the family won the biggest chocolate Easter egg in Wales, which was being raffled for charity by Folly Farm. The family bought their winning ticket on arrival at the park, and were astonished when they received a phone call to say they had won, while they were still there! "It's amazing," exclaimed mother Mandy. "I can't believe it; it's enormous! It's lucky we've got a big car. This has really topped an already brilliant day." When asked what they were going to do with the egg, the family decided they probably wouldn't be able to eat the 18-kilo egg themselves. "We've decided to donate it to our local school, Cynlais Primary. They can use it for their own fund- raising or share it out - whatever they decide!" The egg, made by Pembertons and donated by Chapel Chocolates, of St Davids, has already raised over £400 for charity. The Pendyffryn Trust, who run holidays in Pembrokeshire for disadvantaged children, are the beneficiaries of the Folly Farm raffle. Folly Farm spokesperson, Jo Broughton, explained: "It's been a great attraction at the park over Easter, and we're really pleased to have raised some money for such a lovely organisation as the Pendyffryn Trust. And now I'm really glad that the egg has been won by such a nice family!"
