Ysgol Greenhill, Tenby has expressed delight at a generous ‘Back to School’ donation from the staff and community of Valero Pembroke Refinery.

Staff have donated funds for a stationery drive which have been match-funded by the company. It follows a similar show of generosity last year.

The initiative allows a number of secondary schools to receive generous donations of various stationery items. These enable learning and assist pupils and families at what can be a very expensive time of year.

Ysgol Greenhill is very grateful for this donation, which was brought along to the school by Melissa Brits, vice-chair of the fundraising committee.

Valero is a major employer in Pembrokeshire and benefits the community through volunteering, sponsorships and charitable giving.
