Tenby Community Learning Centre and Tenby Library hosted an Open Day which was very well attended.

During the open day on on Tuesday July 18, many tutors from the centre were on hand in the Hall to answer questions about upcoming courses in September. Learning Centre staff were pleased to sign up quite a few new learners to courses that include: Introduction to Psychology, History, Art, Italian, French, Spanish, Welsh, Pilates, Yoga, Digital Skills, ESOL, and Essential Skills. Tutors and team look forward to giving both new and returning learners a warm welcome in September.

Sarah Benbow and learners from the centre’s singing class made up a fantastic choir which added musical atmosphere to the afternoon, and the team served tea and scones.

Staff from the library displayed a wide range of interesting books in the Hall which are available to borrow for free by library members, and provided details of various activities for children including Lego Club and Baby Rhyme Time. In the library itself, children listened avidly to Storyteller Phil Okwedy and then attended a Craft workshop with librarian Miffany.

Membership of the library involves just a few simple steps and staff are always happy to help.
