Penally student 19-year-old Tom Griffiths has recently gained a place at Hull/York Medical School.
Pictured here with his mentor Maxine Thomas from Pembrokeshire College, who guided Tom through all his medical interview skills, even inviting him down to the meet the college’s experienced interviewers to aid with the training process.
Tom is the first Pembrokeshire College student to gain four interviews, and they are all proud of his achievement.
Having choices to make, Tom eventually made the decision to study at the HYMS medical school which is jointly funded by Hull and York Universities.
The course is a problem based learning course which follows all aspects of medicine, with early exposure to clinical placements.
His family and friends, together with all his tutors are immensely proud and wish him good luck on his wonderful achievement.
